We need clarification on the process for generating the inventory snapshot file in Oracle WMS Cloud following a Stock Count (Physical Inventory), ensuring compatibility with Oracle Retail MFCS (ERP).

MFCS can schedule a stock count—typically at the end of the year—requiring the warehouse team to perform a comprehensive wall-to-wall stock take. Once this count is completed, an inventory snapshot file from WMS must be uploaded into MFCS.

Questions:

  • Does Oracle WMS Cloud have a standard process to generate a file after a stock count?
  • If so, how can we configure the system to ensure the file is produced in the format required by MFCS?
