Disable/ edit the ContractTermsNoMerge layout

I understand from the documentation here:

That, while printing Purchase Orders, when we attach the contract terms to the PO, it will print using the ContractTermsNoMerge layout.

We don't want this page to appear. We tried replacing this layout with an empty one (instead of the default) but it will always generate an empty page merged to our PO layout.

How can we totally avoid it to create a page at all?

Also we already tried to "Disable terms and conditions for all languages" in the Define Purchasing Terms and Condition and the behavior is the same.
