Document of records Visibility in Redwood UI

Hello Oracle Community,

 

I'm seeking clarification regarding document visibility in the Redwood UI. After enabling the Redwood UI for our document type, we've noticed that newly created document of records aren't visible to users until they're explicitly added to that person's document type security profile.

 

This behavior differs from our experience prior to implementing the Redwood UI, where newly created documents were immediately visible to users without requiring additional security profile updates.

 

Could someone confirm whether this change in functionality is a default characteristic of the Redwood UI? Our review of the Oracle release notes didn't mention this behavior, so we're hoping the community can help clarify if this is expected functionality or if there's a configuration aspect we should address.
