Taxes get recalculated when expanding Taxes section in Edit mode

When a user expands the taxes section of an invoice in Edit mode, the system automatically recalculates the taxes taking into account any tax applicability rules. Is there a way to disable the auto-calculation upon expanding the section? This is occurring even on paid and posted invoices causing the need to re-validate and re-approve after fixing the tax lines.
