How to validate past transaction date along with past Onhand

Summary:

Hi, We have a business requirement to validate the transaction date along with the onhand inventory on a given day. Our client enters transactions on daily basis; however sometimes due to delays at the field site, they enter the transactions in system after 2-3 days. The expectation is that whenever a user enters a transaction with past date, the system should validate the on-hand for the entered date and restrict the transaction if the on-hand is not available on that day. Currently, the system is only considering the current on-hand inventory, even when we enter backdated transactions

Example:

Item ABC is having 100 on-hand on 1st May
