Line Manager and Worker time card access for inactive assignments?

There are times where we need to end worker assignments, but we want these workers to maintain access to their time cards for pay periods up until the assignment end date. For example, a pay period runs from 03/01/25-03/14/25. A worker's assignment is end dated as 3/15/25. Since the assignment is now inactive, the worker isn't able to edit or submit their time card on or after 3/15. This is problematic because workers often submit their time cards late.
