I searched the entire security memo and couldn't find the answer to my question:

When a user is created (hybrid SSO + User with password configuration), and the password is not specified by the admin who creates the account, does Oracle generate a password automatically?
Knowing that we are in a configuration that does not send a reset email to the user, who is encouraged to log in via SSO, we noted that in this case, the "Password Expiration Date" field remained empty. We would like confirmation from Oracle because we would like to perform a password reset and would like to know if only accounts with a non-zero "Password Expiration Date" should be reset.
