Item Description Generation when using FBDI for item C

I am trying to create items using FBDI, and we currently have an active item description generation rule within the item rule sets. However, when loading the FBDI, I am encountering the following error:

Item: 300135210(), Description - Description is required. (EGP-2775621)

I attempted to input both an item description and a long description, hoping it would resolve the issue and get overwritten once the item rule generated it, but I am still receiving the error. Could someone advise on how to proceed? Is it possible to generate an item description using a rule set when creating items via FBDI?
