Ability to create custom BPM notification process

Hi all - I am just wondering if there an any ability to create a custom BPM notification process in Fusion ERP? We currently have a SQL bursting query that generates an email for terminated Invoice Approvers that often goes ignored by the managers so we were wondering about the possibility of using a BPM notification process so that it would show as a task in Oracle.

I've looked at the BPM configuration some but could not find anywhere on creating a new custom process, I could only see how to modify existing (delivered) BPM processes. If so, is there documentation/guides available for this? Thanks in advance.
