What engine is used for the AI Agents?

Summary:

We're moving to Redwood, and one of the key new features are the RAG AI Agents. Before using them our organization wants to understand what platform/engine these engines are running off of/are any questions flowing back to OpenAI or Copilot or is it a proprietary sort of thing stored locally. Any specifics would be great, can't find anything online.
