Absence Validation Fast Formula Issue

Hello experts,

Our business uses a fast formula for absence validation for our sick time. Specifically, we have a requirement that employees are only allowed to submit up to 40 hours of sick time with the absence reason of "Sick-Dependent". If an employee tries to submit more sick time with the Sick-Dependent reason, the formula should be stopping them from submitting anything that would put them over 40 hours. The fast formula we've been using has not been restricting it correctly, allowing for submissions over the 40hr constraint.

Attached is the current code used for the absence validation fast formula. We've been attempting to debug the formula, but have not been having much success. If anyone could offer any pointers or pieces of advice that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
