Set up compensatory off in days

Summary:

Currently absence plan type "Compensatory plan" only allows UOM as hours. We want to set up a comp off in Days which is currently not feasible with the seeded leave type. Any ideas on how we can set this up using a accrual or any other plan , where we can also set up expiry for the added leave balance which is otherwise available in seeded compensatory plan.
