Direct org transfer of item which is Lot controlled at source inventory org, non lot at Destination

We are trying to do a POC where we are trying to do a direct org transfer for an item which is lot controlled at source organization and non-lot controlled at destination organization. Is this a valid transaction in Oracle Cloud?
