Renaming the field using VB Tool in Redwood

Requirement to rename the fields as per RUI and bring in the same design in Redwood

we are trying to rename fields in Goals, Performance, Talent Review and other modules in line to our existing customization in Responsive UI. However, we are not finding a way to do it using VB tool. As an alternate weay, we tried using User Interface Text, however, this has impacts in other pages related to Core HR module. Hence please suggest if anyone has come across the same requirement and achieved it successfully.
