Business Rule Execution Order – Top to Bottom? Looking for Clarification

Summary:

Hi all,

I’m currently working on creating extension rules (if rules) and wanted to get clarification on the execution order of business rules.

Based on my testing, it seems like custom business rules are executing in a top-to-bottom order, meaning the first rule listed in the UI executes first, and the last one runs last.

I initially assumed the rules might follow a bottom-to-top execution mode. Can anyone help me understand the order of execution for business rules? They are just simple rules hiding fields based on security role.
