Scheduled Work Order Traveler print process causing duplications on shop floor

We currently have an ESS job scheduled to run every hour to print all work orders in the "Released" status. The problem we are having is that it will print duplicates if the work order is either manually printed before the top of the hour or if the status has not been changed since the last hourly print. Does anyone know if there is a way to flag the system that a work order has already been printed and should not be printed again?
