Any idea what could cause Pricebook import to fail when SFDC is master system?

Summary:

In production pricebook import is failing with below error

Error : An error occurred while communicating with the partner site.
Error message from the partner site:
FUNCTIONALITY_TEMPORARILY_UNAVAILABLE: Failed while fetching query cursor data for this QueryLocator (org 00D4P0000010b0E, path 0r8xx48u6jaNKhJ), please retry your request.

Also note that parts import is successful.
