OIC connection changes should not require reactivation of integrations
Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of):
First Solar, Inc.
Description (Required):
After making changes to a connection in OIC, whether it is the URL or security credentials, it should not be necessary to reactivate integrations that use that connection.
Use Case and Business Need (Required):
After changing a connection, OIC will only handle reactivating up to 50 integrations for you (which itself seems like a needless limitation), but it really shouldn't be necessary at all. Presumably the integrations need to be reactivated because they have cached connection information which needs to be refreshed from the actual connection definition. There should be some mechanism for OIC to indicate to all the integrations that the connection has changed, so on the next use they will get the latest connection information. Or whatever caching they are doing should be cleared so they are forced to re-fetch the latest
