Can we reload supply recommendations to the supply plan after modifying their extract?

Summary:

We wish to mimic the production scheduling functionality in a different way using supply planning. Extract work orders, planned orders, do necessary modifications like date and quantity overrides and re-load the data to the plan for replanning with the new data. Basically, what we doing is doing a production planning & scheduling outside the system on a spreadsheet and uploading it to the plan for materials planning. We know that there is an Edit in Spreadsheet functionality to export data from supplies and demand UI, do the edits and re-load but this does work for us.
