HCM Extract- schema definitional check before delivering xml

Summary:

We have seen some corrupt files from our HCM Extract which Support are unable to assist as they states they do not support "custom extracts".

Does any customer know if HCM Extract has any programmatic schema definitional check prior to delivering xml so that in case of a corrupt xml it fails that validation step
