Transitioning Oracle BIP Reports from Packages to Standard Tables

Can we convert Oracle BIP reports to use only Oracle standard tables instead of Oracle standard packages? We should not call standard packages in the report. We have reports with the following packages: INV_MO_PICK_SLIP, FA_FAS600_XMLP_PKG.bookformula(), FA_FAS600_XMLP_PKG.Currency_Code_p, and ap_invoices_pkg.get_approval_status. Can we replace these packages with standard tables and rebuild the query?
