Not able to include third-party JavaScript library into a Redwood page(VBS)

in Visual Builder Studio for HCM

Hi everyone,

We're integrating a third-party JavaScript library (WalkMe) into a Redwood page within the Oracle HCM application. We're using the standard WalkMe code snippet in the JavaScript tab of the root "redwood" page.

Current Issue:

  • This implementation worked as expected in our DEV1 environment.
  • After migrating to PROD, the script initially functioned correctly for a couple of weeks.
  • Following a recent deployment to PROD, the WalkMe script stopped working. We've attempted to re-migrate the script, but it still fails to load or execute.

Question:

Has anyone encountered a similar issue where a previously functioning third-party script stops working in a Redwood PROD environment after a new deployment? Could a recent Redwood or Oracle HCM update or a change in platform-side restrictions—be affecting script injection?
