New assignment effective dated row called "Primary work relationship change"

In our lower pods we see an additional row being inserted in both assignments. Its labelled as "Primary Work Relationship Change"

We have only 1 Legal employer and hence (mostly) only 1 WR with LE with EMP person type.

We do have multiple assignments in this WR.

When we create the additional Assignment or Temporary assignment, we flip the flag from PRIMARY = NO to YES, on the Temporary assignment.

The system automatically makes the base assignment as non primary from the same date.
