    • Issue with Custom Dimension Validation in Enterprise Journals within SmartView (FCCS)

    We're currently working on posting a journal to a template in FCCS using Enterprise Journals. One of the custom dimension fields is a concatenation of Entity.Account.CostCenter. All valid combinations have been preloaded as attributes to this custom dimension. Within the application, posting an ad-hoc journal, these fields are selectable with filtering capability.

    However, within SmartView, the field does not offer a dropdown list of these combinations. Additionally, when manually entering or copying a valid combination from the application, the journal fails to save—SmartView does not recognize the value as valid.

    Has anyone encountered this issue or found a workaround to get these custom combinations recognized in SmartView? This seems to be a huge limitation for a client who wants to utilize excel to copy paste a lot of journal detail rather than build them individually in the app.
