Data Push to remote Cube

Summary:Is it still necessary to use Smart Push when trying to push data to a remote cube? I thought this was enhanced to allow directly from Data Maps. However, I am still getting the following error:

The data push operation is not supported in the current release for cross pod data maps and data maps with member level mapping. The data push for the data map 'test' has been ignored.
