Rehire/Create Work Relationship not working as expected - Rehire Case/Hire an existing contact.

Here's what I'm encountering:

1st scenario: While I'm trying to hire someone on 5/12/2025, the duplicate check functionality tells me that there is a person in the database with those details.  That person is a previously terminated employee. I select the option to add a work relationship for the termed employee. I would want to Rehire them on 5/12/2025.  In our case, the Rehire Action is not an option.  That is one issue: why doesn't it give me the Rehire Action?  So I select the "Hire" Action. Once I try to submit the transaction, I receive an error message: The nonworker
