Incorrect component demand in sales and operations planning

Summary:

We have defined Bill of Resources for few critical components against product categories in a sales and operations plan. However, the component total demand calculated is not matching with the value we expect when calculating using the usage quantity on BoR.

Strangely, the discrepancy is only in the first few periods and they are an exact match for subsequent periods.

There are no sales orders, safety stock, etc. that might increase the component demand.
