How do we size a replenishment plan?

Summary

We have split our replenishment plans into two separate plans; however, the primary plan continues to grow in terms of item volume. As a result, we are experiencing gradual performance degradation. We are aware that dividing plans is one approach to manage this, but we are looking for a more streamlined and scalable solution.

Could you please advise if there are any official guidelines or best practices from Oracle regarding optimal plan sizing and performance tuning?
