Benefit Contact validation Before you Enroll
Summary:
We have enabled field validation on the Family and Emergency contacts page to force DOB to be entered for certain contact types. I am trying to add that to the benefits pages. Started with Before you Enroll. I initially tried using the basic function, as we did in the Core HR page, but I was unable to get the error message to appear. After looking in CCC, I found this link (How do I add validation rules for Benefits contact pages?) and followed the steps to add the delivered javascript, but I still cannot SEE the error message. If I try to enter a contact of type Child without a DOB, it stays on that screen but does not display my error message. If I enter the DOB, it will save the contact. So it seems like the validation is preventing me from saving (which is what I want), but I can't SEE the error message.
