We have created an item rule set to validate the "Operating Group COA Segment" field based on the item type. The intended logic is as follows:
If the item type is "Stock" and the **"Operating Group COA Segment" is not populated, the system should display the message:
“Please populate Operating Group COA Segment under Additional Attributes for Stock Items.”
If the item type is "Stock" and the "Operating Group COA Segment" is populated, the message should not appear.
However, the message is currently being displayed in both scenarios—regardless of whether the "Operating Group COA Segment" field has a value or not. This behavior is incorrect and needs to be addressed.
