Should any processes be run manually after a quarterly release?

Looking for clarity on what processes (if any) should be run manually after a quarterly release is deployed.

I understand that the Oracle Search ingest processes and ACL processes are automated and should work fine following a quarterly release.

But I'm thinking that the seeded security profiles can sometimes have changes to privileges as part of a quarterly release, there are mentions in the release notes of custom profiles needing new privileges to be added manually etc.

So is it good practice to always run these security processes after a quarterly release?
