Is Position Tree Code a mandatory selection in Loading Oracle HCM Cloud Metadata to EPM

Hello Experts,

Hope you are doing well.

As per the Oracle documentation it is mentioned that Position tree is needed to bring position metadata to EPM.
Please confirm if this is a mandatory field or there is anyway where position tree information can be skipped to bring in positions as metadata in EPM.
