Updates to Upcoming Release Schedule

There are a number of underlying updates to platform technologies that are required as we migrate Oracle Student Financial Aid to Oracle Fusion. We will be modernizing the codebase with the latest platform technologies and refreshing several underlying architectural components including,

  • Architectural Optimizations to Repackaging Engine which will improve throughput and fault tolerance during financial aid recalculations and re-awards.
  • Application Framework Upgrade to the latest versions of the available Java framework, which includes comprehensive updates across the codebase and increased application stability and maintainability.
  • Simplifying Transaction Management by streamlining the application’s approach to managing transactions across services to reduce architectural complexity and minimizes the risk of latency or coordination issues in distributed operations.
