how to add the search in VBCS similar to journeys page search

Hi Experts

I have a requirement to add a search similar like the search available in Journeys fusion page, could someone please let me how can i add below search where user can just click on the status badge and upon clicking on it the search will be filtered on the page , also clicking on this status will not add the search on the search tab bar. I saw one smart search video by Shay but there when user clicks on the smart search then the criteria will be added in the search bar tab, here it won't add. Please help
