How to import Master Item Status into BPA line

BPA line showing Item that has already been Inactivated status in Master item list. How to add a flag or ItemStatus value on BPA Line that could display Item as Active, Inactive, Obsolete or Pending status dynamically pulling value from Item level into BPA line ?
