Is it possible to automate intern terminations in the system?

Is it possible to automate intern terminations in the system based on how the intern master record is created? We are exploring the possibility of automating intern terminations in the system based on the configuration of the intern's master record. I have noted a sample scenario for your reference.

Example Scenario:
Intern X is hired on 01.01.2025 for a period of 6 months. If their master record is created with this tenure information, can the system automatically populate the termination date based on the end of the internship period and carry out the termination process accordingly?
Additionally, in the case where the internship is extended, can the system update the termination date automatically and then proceed with termination at the revised end date?
