Oracle cpq Document Designer usecase considerations

Hi,

Currently we have one CPQ instance supporting one business unit. we have maintained multi language document designer templates one for PDF and another for Word document.

In future we are going to have around 18 business units using CPQ. we have below options.

option1: maintain separate document for each business unit Pros: fast loading and less testing effort in future any business unit specific changes.

we need to create separate actions for each Business unit and hide Actions for other Business units.

option2:same document for all business units with conditions.

Pros: one document maintenance

Cons: may take time to load because we need to include Business unit specific conditions. Document Designer Size limitations may be encountered.
