Setting UDAs in Main Hierarchy, but Filtering on Shared Hierarchy

Before Oracle justifies technically why this functionality may not work, let me offer a business case as an example.

A Cost Centre structure has Level 0 members with UDAs as "Active" or "Inactive".

All cost centres reside under the master (stored) hierarchy and at the same time, an alternate (shared) hierarchy has also been created, with all the same base level members, but rearranged differently.

For example:
