Does shelf life days gets considered while generating planned orders in plan

Summary:

We are having a requirement to consider the shelf life days of a product while generating the planned orders. But based on what we see shelf life were not getting considered during planned order generation. It is working fine for on-hand with expiration date

For eg :

The planned order of a WIP which has a due date of 10th June gets pegged with FG item planned order where the operation starts at 30th June. In this case, WIP has a shelf life of 14 days and ideally WIP will be expired by 24th June before operation starts.

Please let us know if anyone faced similar issue and how we can overcome this
