Data access for REST custom fields in Case Management

Summary:

We have created custom fields in VBCS using REST API calls to bring data from outside the Case.
We have fields fetching all the employees using REST API.
Why the data access is not getting considered for these fields?
Admin not able to search for employees outside there AOR in other tasks but when searching employees using these Case management REST API fields, it is listing all the employees.

Please suggest how we can make the custom REST API fields to follow the data access assigned to the Admin.

est how custom REST fields will be restricted as data access admins is having.
