HDL Deletion of Absence Entry Succeeds Despite Mismatched Hours

Hello,

There is a Sick Leave absence entry recorded for 8 hours. A member of my team created an HDL file to delete this absence entry. However, in the HDL file, the absence hours were specified as 3.5 instead of 8. Despite this mismatch, the HDL successfully deleted the 8-hour absence entry.

I was expecting the HDL to throw an error due to the discrepancy in hours. Is this the expected behaviour of HDL? If not, how can we ensure that HDL throws an error when the hours specified do not match the existing absence entry?
