Can CPQ Managed Package support ICU?

Summary:

Salesforce is transitioning to the International Components for Unicode (ICU) formats for dates, times, and currencies. These new formats will replace the Oracle Java 8 Development Kit (JDK8), as ICU sets the international standard for these formats across all locales. Change is enforced as part of the Summer’25 release, which is early June.

We are currently utilizing the Oracle CPQ Connector for Salesforce, and Oracle CPQ Extension for Salesforce managed packages, version 8.6, in our Salesforce instance. We need you to confirm whether this version of the app supports the ICU formats.

Additionally, please call out if any parts of the managed package code refer to locales and conversions, as we will need to cover these areas in our sanity testing.

Howdy, Stranger!
