Connections Integration (Sharepoint)

Exploring use of Connections.

Existing established person dictionary built on Sharepoint contains a number of elements available in Connections against each employee, such as photo, organisation chart, contact details, about me, and interests.

Argument against using Connections would be duplication of activities e.g. update your 'about me' section in both Sharepoint and Connections.

Question: What is possible with respect to integration between Connections and Sharepoint, or mass upload into Connections?
