Global Search Wheel missing after a user changed its setting

Summary:

Hi,

The Global Search doesn't give any result and the wheel/Setting icon is missing in the Global search.

As per Oracle's resolution tried the following and waited for half an hour cleared browser history but no result -

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Step1: Enable Update and Delete customizations.
1. Setup and Maintenance --> Manage Administrator Profile Values
2. Find the profile option code FND_ALLOW_MANUAL_METADATA_UPDATES
3. In the profile value drop down please select 'Yes'.
4. Save and close

Step2:
1. Create a sandbox with Page Composer tool. Enable it.
2. Click on Manage Configuration. Search for/persdef/oracle/apps/fnd/applcore/globalSearch/SuggestGroupsMO.xml
