Is there a way to select only OOB artifacts in EPBCS when creating a snapshot?

Summary:

I need to copy a snapshot of my current Production to a new Test Environment. Can I omit the custom modifications and create a snapshot? Or should I import the Prod snapshot to Test and remove modified artifacts in forms, dashboards, dimensions etc?
