In the event of such service disruption, “Switch” validates cutover criteria, moves affected Fusion Applications environments to secondary sites, and activates those secondary environments, allowing customers to quickly resume normal operations.

The ultimate purpose of “Switch” is to enable customers to quickly resume their normal business operations in the event of a service disruption by efficiently shifting their Fusion Applications to a resilient secondary location.
