Stop Day spanning rule Workday definition- incorrect Regular/Overtime calculation

edited Jun 20, 2025 1:35PM in Workforce Management 1 comment

Summary:

Hello folks,

Need your help in getting correct Regular and Overtime calculation as per defined Workday Definition for Stop Day spanning rule.

Day Start time is 6:00 am (means 24 hours is in between 6:00 am to 5:59 am next day)

We configured Workday Definition, 12 hours patten Work schedule (18:00 hours to 6:00 hours). Any hour entered after 6:00 am must be considered as Overtime for next day. The daily threshold is of 12 hours.

Issue is when we enter time for 9th Jun (18:00 hours to 7:00 am) total 13 hours, out of which 12 hours is Regular and 1 hour must calculate as Overtime for the next day. The same is entered for 10th Jun as well. The regular hour distribution is getting split in 11 & 1, which seems to be incorrect.

Howdy, Stranger!
