Enable MFA for common users / best practice

Summary:

Hi, we have a common user name not linked with person and that we are using for maintenace management to perform work order closure. we have recently enabled the MFA for all employees and suppleirs but we have some common users as well which we have in place some cost. Please suggest the best practice to have the authenticaiton for the same.

is it recommended to have a common mail box and a any one phone/device to aauthrise in case of login and password recovery ?

or do we need to go for exclusive accesses of maintenance module for each one of them accessing this common id which will increase the cost.
