OTL Fast Formula for Additional Hours

Hi Team,

We have below requirements in OTL to calculate additional hours for billing.

Employee Scheduled Hours are 40 hours per week.

Scenario 1: Employee Books Less Than 40 Hours

• If an employee books less than 40 hours in a week (e.g., 38 hours), the treatment is as follows:
  • Time Booked: 38 hours
  • Project Costing: 38 hours will be recorded as actual cost
  • Billing: Still billing should be happen as 40 hours for client billing purposes

Scenario 2: Employee Books More Than 40 Hours (e.g., 45 hours)

• Time Booked: 45 hours
  • Billable Hours: 40 hours
  • Additional Cost: 5 hours captured as additional effort (not treated as overtime)
  • Billing: Only 40 hours are billed to the client
