SLA Derivation from DFFs – ALL Inventory Transactions

Hi Oracle CCC Team,

We are implementing Oracle Fusion Inventory for our client, and one of their requirements is to allow users to dictate certain COA segments (e.g., Cost Center) at the time of inventory transactions.

To meet this, we have configured Descriptive Flexfields (DFFs) and successfully set up the Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules to derive segment values from these DFFs. This works as expected for most inventory transactions. However, we encountered issues with the following transaction types:

  • Inter-organization transfers
  • Physical count adjustments
  • Average cost adjustments

For these transactions, it seems that the DFF values are either not available or not being picked up by SLA during accounting rule derivation.
